This is the first birthday cake for Claire. Claire's mom has thoughtfully saved the painted wooden letter from her baby shower cake, so we used them on her 1st birthday cake as well!

My grandma, an amazing baker, never went a day without dessert. I think she was on to something! She always sent her goodies in care packages sent with "love and smoochie kisses." So now, I will try and never live a day without dessert...or SmoochieCakes!
